It's official - Spring has Sprung!

We're excited to see lots of delicious produce coming into the shop including new season carrots with tops on (the tops are brilliant for a base for pesto - blitz with some fresh lemon juice, garlic and olive oil), the first kohlrabi of the year is now in the shop (perfect for a spring slaw or roasted with lots of butter Ottolenghi style - his kohlrabi repertoire is impressive) and the caulis are looking superb (we like to add a bit of miso to our cauliflower cheese - a tip stolen from the masters at Brum Mi serving Sunday Roasts at The Dark Horse in Moseley).


It's always a nice feeling when we're not having to get up in the dark to head to market - especially when there's so much great local produce to choose from to help the shop look colourful and the planning of veg boxes a little easier.


We've also had a bit of a spring clean of the website and we've added a new section of everything that's 'hot' in the shop! People can't get enough of our selection of mushrooms - so we've now added the option of oyster, portobello and wild mushrooms (coming soon!) to order for home delivery.


Spring cleaning seems well and truly in action as our brilliant environmentally friendly cleaning products by Splosh are flying out - they have a whole range of products for the home that are vegan friendly, are kind to the environment and best of all help to reduce the use of plastic by their clever refillable packaging. You return the pouches to us in the shop and we do the rest!
